Since childhood art in one from or another has always been something I dabbled in, always trying new and different things, never sticking with one until I started collecting dolls. The collecting led to porcelain reproduction dolls for myself and family and exposure to artist dolls of all kinds. A NIADA event in Chicago during the 90's opened my eyes to OOAK art dolls and a strong desire to make my own. I put that desire on the backburner to pursue a career yet it never went away. It may have taken a while to take the plunge but here I am in 2017, 4 years into fulfilling my dream. I have no idea where this exciting journey will lead but I sure am going to enjoy it no matter it's path. For now, that means babies and children which are my biggest love....but who knows where the ultimate journey will end.
