My love for dolls started with a Judith Turner "Baby Terri" back in the 80s. I started selling porcelains in my jewelry shop where I custom designed 14k jewelry. Then I started designing jewelry for dolls and made props for doll factories. Judy Turner showed me all the steps for porcelain production doing her last production line and it intrigued me to give it a try.
When I returned to Georgia we did our own porcelains but it was short lived and I gave up dolls and worked for a dentist for 18 years. Then......
I heard about polymer clay and my new adventure began.
I truly love the challenge of sculpting to get a likeness from a photo.
It always amazes and thrills me to see what emerges from a block of clay.
I've had 18 foster children and adopted two. And love to work in the flower beds and watch my birds.
